General Rental Conditions
TERMS OF SALES
The rental periodic is determined by the present contract.
Check-in starts from 4:00 pm, and the checkout before 12:00 pm.
RATES
Rates are stated in Euros €.
Daily housekeeping is included, except on Sundays and bank holidays.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
For all rates, deposit of 40% of the reservation is charged at the booking and non-refundable. The balance is charged on the card prior to your arrival according to the applicable terms of sale and becomes non-refundable. The city tax is 5% on the stay.
Length of stay :
Very high season: 8 nights minimum (from 20 December 2019 to 5 January 2020)
High season: 4 nights minimum (from 6 January 2020 to 16 April 2020)
Low season: 3 nights minimum (17 April 2020 to 19 December 2020)
ADVANCE PAYMENT
Only a signed contract and the deposit (down payment) corresponding to 50% of the total amount of the stay validate the rental of villas, cottages or rooms. This amount is taken from the card before your arrival according to the applicable general conditions of sale and becomes non-refundable for all cancellations according to our cancellation conditions.
RATES AND TAXES
For our Villa Paradise, a guarantee of 1000 € is requested at the entrance and will be refunded maximum 7 days after the departure of your accommodation. For all other accommodations, a guarantee of 500 € is required. Payments are made by bank transfer in euros, by bank card or check.
CONDITIONS
Fleur de Lune guests must use the spaces in a quiet and respectful way.
The basic safety rules need to be respected by all guests and no degradation or damage of the house is accepted. The maximum occupancy per bedroom is two persons.
The guests in a room cannot be superior to the number initially booked. Children under 12 years old are not allowed.
Subletting is prohibited. The use of fireworks and firecrackers are not allowed.
Rooms are no-smoking areas.
The animals are forbidden in the property.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Personal belongings and valuables are under the guests’ own responsibility. Owners cannot be held responsible for any loss, deterioration or theft of those personal effects.
PASSPORT / VISA
A valid passport (validity at least until departure date) is required for all nationalities to enter the territory of St Barthélemy and St Martin. Children also need to hold a valid passport. For certain nationalities, a visa could be required.
CONTESTATIONS
The owner commits to deliver the accommodation in its best condition. The owner cannot be held liable for failures of operation of the public services and its consequences. Those services include: water, electricity, phone, TV or Internet...
INSURANCE
We strongly encourage our clients to subscribe a travel insurance covering unexpected events that could force them to suspend, cancel or move their vacations.
APPLICABLE LAW
The only law applicable to the present contract is the French Law.
Any disagreement resulting from the interpretation, application or cancellation of this contract comes exclusively under the jurisdiction of the ‘Tribunal de Grande Instance’ of Guadeloupe (Basse Terre).
